Two hopeless romantics furiously swipe left, and left, and left again, on an obscure, often misunderstood dating app called "Tinder". They both look to the heavens, shake their fist, and yell, "Am I doomed to swipe left forever! Is there no one out there who is worthy of my right swipe?". Time stands still as Brooke and Jason see one another for the first time. Their fingers float effortlessly across their screens, moving in a rightward direction. For the first time in Tinder's history, the application had made a flawless match. It was at this exact moment, before even speaking a word to one another, that Brooke and Jason both knew that they had met their soulmate.&nbsp; Now, that may not be exactly how it went down, but we will always acknowledge and embrace the fact that Tinder is our connector; it brought us together and we will be forever grateful.&nbsp; Our real story begins at the Penny Coffee House on a warm summer evening. We knew nothing about one another when we walked in, but by the time we'd finished our black coffee and London Fog, it felt as though we'd known one another for our entire lives. Seconds, minutes, hours, we weren't counting. Well… it turns out someone else was. Time may have stood still for us, but the coffee shop owner, who graciously provided us a thirty minute buffer after closing his doors to the public, had reached the pinnacle of our love story and was ready to turn the page; it was time for us to leave. As we stood outside, the bright neon light of the Penny Coffee House sign slowly fading behind us, we didn't realize that saying goodbye to someone you’ve just met would be so difficult. We both thought to ourselves: is it too early for a kiss? What would she think? What would he think? As we contemplated the dilemma before of us, we decided that it would be best to awkwardly fall into each other's arms for a hug which neither of us wanted to end; however, there’s a point in time at which a hug looks less like a hug, and more like a mugging, so we both decided that it was best to play it safe and let go. One of us went left, and the other right, but we both knew that it wouldn’t be long before we’d end up on the same path.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This story is true (mostly). We both knew early on that we wanted to be on the same path together; however, what has strengthened our relationship over the last three years is the fact that we both understand that complacency can hurt us. We have worked and continue to work on, not only us as a team, but also on ourselves as individuals. We felt the love and passion for one another all around us on the day that we met, but we also understood that it would take time and effort to build a foundation for our relationship. It’s through our experiences together that we’ve been able to begin to form this foundation. As difficult as some of them may have been, they’re part of our story, and working through them has only helped strengthen our foundation. Our love and passion for one another continues to grow each and every day. It’s in the way we speak; it’s in the way we listen; it’s in the way we learn; it’s in the way we understand. We take examples of love, caring, and kindness from our mothers, fathers, sisters, grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and our closest friends, and we use them as a guiding light for our own relationship. We’re excited to see what the future holds! Life will inevitably throw us a few curveballs, but we both know that we wouldn’t want to be on any other team.&nbsp;

Our Wedding

Our Forever Home 

Your presence at our wedding is a gift in itself; however, for those who feel inclined to contribute to our forever home, we will have a card box set up at the reception.

Wedding Registry 

We want everyone to have a fun, safe, and worry free evening at the reception. For that reason, we've hired a local company by the name of 94 Cabs to provide a free shuttle service for our guests between the hours of 10:00pm and 2:00am. Please plan ahead by choosing a designated driver, or take advantage of the shuttle service. We're so excited to celebrate with everyone, and we just want to ensure that those near and dear to us make it home safely.

Reception Shuttle Service 

The Ceremony will take place in "Babcia's Garden". Every year Jason's grandmother digs, plants, waters, fertilizes, cuts, and trims in order to create a beautiful oasis in the prairies. This space is near and dear to our hearts and with her blessing we're happy to share it with you. There are a few challenges we face with a venue such as this; namely parking and available seating. We will do our best to ensure that each guest has a seat for the ceremony. However, as space is limited, some guests may prefer to stand in order to get a better view. Don't worry! The ceremony will be short and sweet!
