We do not have any strict outfit requirements, for any event, but have recommendations to share

Welcome Party & Mehndi

We recommend either a nice Western or Indian outfit (linens, kurta & pyjama, etc.). Women in particular may want to consider wearing an outfit that allows for Mehndi (Henna) tattoos.

Grah Shanti

For the limited guests that are planning on attending, we recommend a slighly more formal Indian outfit. The ceremony is religious, so please plan to wear long sleeve outfits that maximize coverage.

Haldi

There will be an opportunity to change outfits between the Grah Shanti and the Haldi events, but we recommend a beach / sand friendly Western or Indian outfit that guests don't mind if they get dirty or stained from Haldi (Turmeric).

Jago & Garba

We recommend a more traditional Indian outfit (kurta & pyjama, sherwani, etc.) that allows guests to dance freely. The event will be taking place outdoors and in the evening, so we recommend outfits that have some bling (mirror work, sequins, etc.)

Double Wedding

We recommend the most formal Indian outfit for this event (kurta, vest, pyjama or sherwani, etc.). We recognize it will be very warm and the event is outdoors and are making every reasonable attempt to allow for a nice breeze, but we recommend wearing summer friendly fabrics (linens, lightweight cotton, moisture-wicking synthetics, etc.)

Reception

We recommend a more formal Western or Indian outfit for women (ballroom dresses, heavy dresses, etc.) and formal Western outfits for men (suit, tuxedo, etc.)
