When is the RSVP deadline?
Please complete your RSVP by September 7th. This will help us to ensure we have what we need to accommodate all guests the day of the wedding.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal. Think of something nice to wear to church like a dress, dress shirt and slacks, or suit and tie.
Can I bring my children?
We truly love your little ones! To allow for all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we kindly request an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children from our close families. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!
Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
What will the weather be like in Arkansas in October?
Arkansas weather is very unpredictable, we can sometimes have 4 seasons in 1 day! I am hopeful that it will be a little cooler around this time, maybe 60-70 degrees and sunny. But, it can sometimes be warmer or sometimes cooler this time of year :-)
What will the wedding day timeline look like?
The ceremony will be a Catholic mass and will likely be a little over an hour in length. There will be a small gap between the end of the ceremony and the reception to allow the wedding party and family to take photos. The reception at Osage House will open at 4:30 for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. At the reception, we will celebrate a blend of cultures and honor specific cultural traditions. We will also have dinner, drinks, and dancing so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
Is there parking at the church and reception venues?
Yes, both locations have plenty of complementary parking available for all guests.
Are lyfts or ubers allowed to pick up or drop off at the reception venue?
Yes, both are able to provide transportation to/from Osage house. Guests are able to leave their cars overnight at this venue if needed as long as you retrieve your vehicle the following day. We want all guests to have fun and be safe going home from the venue.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Yes, we will have a registry attached to this website for guests to reference if they would like.
What is the money dance?
The "money dance" is a tradition in the Mexican culture where guests contribute money to dance with the bride or groom. The collected money is used to help with the honeymoon or other wedding-related expenses. It's a fun way for guests to show their support and celebrate with the newlyweds. Everyone is welcome to participate if they would like!
