What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
The wedding ceremony will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 519 E 4th St, Alton, IL 62002.
The wedding reception will be held at Post Commons located at 300 Alby St, Alton, IL 62002.
Both locations are wheelchair accessible.
Where should I park?
Parking for St. Mary's is available on the surrounding streets as well as the parking lot directly in front of the building. Parking for Post Commons is available on the surrounding streets. The public City Hall lot is located nearby and may also be used for parking.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Semi-formal attire is encouraged. Options for ladies may include a midi dress, jumpsuit, or wrap dress. Gentlemen may consider wearing dress pants with a button-up shirt and dress shoes.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Your invitation will indicate if a plus one has been allotted for you.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
If you have a dietary restriction or allergy that you would like considered for your meal, please notify the bride and groom at your earliest convenience prior to the RSVP date. Pasta, vegetable, and salad options will be available for those with a vegetarian diet.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We ask that guests be in their seats at least 15 minutes prior to the start time.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
The wedding ceremony will begin at 2pm, and will last for approximately an hour or less. The wedding reception venue will open as early as 5pm, and dinner will be served at 6pm. Please see the "Things To Do" tab above for ideas regarding how to spend the time between the ceremony and reception.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We ask that no photos be taken during the wedding ceremony. Photos are welcome during the reception.
