Am I allowed to bring a guest?
Even though we would love for as many people to come, we ask that you only bring a guest if it is indicated on the invitation in order for us to stick to our strict budget and RSVP only policy.
Are children allowed at the wedding ceremony/ reception?
We love children and the memories that can be made with them. Unfortunately, children will not be in attendance on our wedding day besides the flower girls.
Who do I message if I have questions about the RSVP or wedding in general?
If you run into a situation where you are questioning things about the wedding, the bride and groom's contact information will be on the RSVP portion you save.
What if I do not return my RSVP on time or at all?
If you do not return your RSVP you received by the indicated date, unfortunately, you will not be able to attend the wedding due to deadline of venue guest count. To RSVP, you can RSVP online on our website using the QR code on the card.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there will be a dress code for the wedding. We kindly ask that you dress in formal attire (i.e. suits, dresses). Jeans, leggings, flip flops, t-shirts, flannels, etc. will not be permitted.
How early should I arrive to the wedding ceremony/ reception?
We ask that our guests arrive to our ceremony and reception 15-30 minutes prior to when the start time is. This way guests will not be in a rush to find appropriate seating.
Can I bring my own alcohol to the reception or will it be an open/ cash bar?
We will provide all of the alcohol and it is an open bar.
Will I be allowed to take pictures at the ceremony?
Even though we love that you would like to take pictures, we will have a professional photographer there and would ask that you silence your phone and enjoy the evening.
What should I do if I cannot make it to the wedding.
If you cannot make it, you will be missed greatly. Let us know as soon as possible when and if you cannot make the wedding.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outside of the reception area. The reception will be held in the gorgeous, rustic barn at The Shepard Place.
Will there be a hotel block?
Unfortunately, due to it being a very busy weekend around the area, we are note able to accommodate to making a big hotel block for our guests besides our family members/ bridal party that wish to stay over the weekend, but we will provide you travel information on our website that you can use to your discretion.
