Our Wedding

Jay and Kayla met in a small college town of Oxford, Mississippi, through some mutual Young Life friends. After a year of being friends, Kayla visited Oxford over the summer, where Jay invited Kayla over for a movie. What a move! However, neither one of them was bold enough to confess their feelings, and the fact that Kayla lived 1100 miles away did not help. Not until August 2021, when Kayla came back to Oxford and asked Jay to watch the Virginia Tech Hokies game together. Luckily, Jay finally asked Kayla out! The next eight months of their relationship were spent in secret to ensure that none of their friends messed anything up for them. Jay and Kayla were officially out of hiding when their good friends Elizabeth and Jordan spilled the beans to everyone (Thank you for that). Since then, Kayla and Jay's relationship has been filled with nothing but love, memories, and lots of travel. Jay ended up proposing to Kayla on September 22, 2023, at the Williamsburg Winery after 2 wonderful years of being together.

Our Story

Our relationship has always been centered around Faith, Family, and Friends, which is why we couldn't be happier to say "I do" with each and every one of you.
