Jay and I have the perfect “right under each other’s noses” story. We grew up in the same youth group, had overlapping friend circles, and eventually did college ministry together. He was even friends with my dad, and for 12 years, it never crossed our minds that we could be or would be anything more than acquaintances.

Jay made the first move, and I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant at first, but I suggested we start with coffee and see how it went. Here we are today! Getting coffee the week before Christmas was the best gift I could have ever received. What started as that one coffee date quickly turned into a series of dinners, lunches, and game nights, and they've never stopped!

I can't help but marvel at how perfectly God's timing has worked in all of this. I’m incredibly grateful that He opened our eyes and hearts to each other right when it was meant to happen. Jay is truly my best friend, and I’m beyond excited to start the rest of our lives together!
