We met in Thompson Hall where Maike lived her freshman year of college. We stayed friends for a year to let life sort itself out, and after a year of friendship, we couldn’t help but to fall in love with each other!

Our first trip together up to Rib Mountain in Wausau, WI to look at the fall colors turned into the start of forever!

While on our annual anniversary trip to Rib Mountain, Jay planned the most amazing surprise where we got engaged!
