For my 23rd birthday, Zack wrote me our 'meeting story' and it was the greatest gift I have ever received. I laughed and cried while reading it! When people ask how we met I always say that Zack tells it better because his pursuing started the second he saw me and it adds another layer of wholesomeness to it. I love to sit and listen and act as if it's my first time hearing it every time.

For those reading this because I know Zack won't haha - I have begged for a part two of that story in how he fell in love with me so if he ever comes and asks you what I want for Christmas/Birthday, it is that!!

All that he wrote was true of how we met on March 25th. Our first "date" was ice cream at Braum's the next day. The word date is in quotes because Zack didn't explicitly say that it was one until I finally asked him after a few hangouts if he was going to ask me out on a real date. He laughed and said that's what we have been doing. But nonetheless, he did ask me out on a real date and brought flowers and all and we had dinner and got flights at Stonecloud for our first real date. We officially started dating May 12th, 2023. I knew May was a special month for a reason :) We dated for 2 years and then got engaged Saturday, May 24th, 2025.
