Jaycee and I met back in 2019 while both following our passion working with children with autism. Though working at separate centers, we shared a few common clients which brought us together on a weekly basis. Though just colleagues at this time, it was clear that we both shared a mutual desire to work in more of the behavioral realm of ABA therapy and quickly formed a collaborative relationship as we worked to find the best course of treatment for our clients.
Fast forward two years, and I (and my co-director of course!) somehow finally convinced Jaycee, after a few failed attempts, to take a leap of faith to leave her current job and join the local nonprofit I was employed through that was just in the beginning stage of life in the GB area working with individuals of varying abilities across the lifespan. As life would have it, love really did come when it was least expected, and though I would have never guessed she'd be the one I had been waiting for in the end, I was happily taken by surprise! We started dating the following year and the rest is history!
When we aren't working together, we love spending time with our fur family, going to breweries, playing yard games, watching/playing sports, listening to live music, going up to the UP, spending time with our nieces and nephews, and watching our "trash TV shows" together!
