We met in 2018 at the end of the summer before our junior year of high school. After a few months of dates and getting to know one another, Boyd asked me to be his girlfriend (YAYYY!). We enjoyed making many memories together during our last two years of high school, including learning how to root for each other's sports teams despite being rival league schools. The next page of our journey sent us to two different colleges. The first two years were the most challenging as we navigated our relationship from a distance and a new busy season in our lives. After finishing my prerequisites and transferring to Pitt State for nursing, our relationship truly began to blossom. Together we strengthened our relationship with the Lord and truly pursued the great purpose of our love. Throughout our time together we have been supported by great friends, family, and communities who have been witnesses, encouragers, and role models to us. We are excited to deepen these relationships, and above all we are looking forward to deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ as we become one in marriage. These past six years of being together have been a blessing, and we are very excited for what the Lord has planned for us!
