Caden and Jaycee first met in high school. Although they knew of each other, they ran in different circles and never truly crossed paths. A few years after graduation, Caden randomly reached out to Jaycee one day and asked her to hang out. After making plans for a while, they finally did. For their first date, Caden took Jaycee out on his friend’s boat, and afterward they went back to her house to watch movies. Over the next few months, they continued spending time together and getting to know one another.Eventually, their paths drifted apart for a season. During that time, Jaycee became close friends with Caden’s cousin—without realizing the connection at first. This unexpected link brought Caden and Jaycee back into each other’s lives, this time as friends, though Jaycee hoped for more. They began spending time together again, but soon after, Caden had to leave town for work.While he was away, Caden couldn’t stop thinking about Jaycee. On his weekend off, he reached out and asked if they could talk. He drove four hours back to Canton, Texas, praying along the way for clarity and guidance, wanting to be sure he was making the right decision. When Jaycee got off work, she called him just as he had asked—nervous and unsure of what he would say. Caden told her that he wanted to be with her, that God had been speaking to his heart, telling him to stop waiting and go after the woman he truly wanted.And that’s exactly what he did.They have now been together for two years, grateful for God’s perfect timing and guidance. Caden and Jaycee are ready to begin this next chapter of their lives as one. They thank Him for bringing them together and are committed to keeping Him at the center of their relationship, forever and always.
