Carly Wines
Carly Wines - Co-Matron of Honor
Carly was supposed to be my maid of honor but decided to elope in March (rude.) I was told that automatically landed her a new title as "matron." She is my younger sister and the self acclaimed "favorite" child, but I disagree. Over the years, she has truly become my best friend and I couldn't imagine what my life would have been like if my parents hadn't have accidentally had a third child. I wouldn't want anyone else standing directly by my side as I marry my best friend.
Amber Milam
Amber Milam - Co-Matron of Honor
Although she's aged way better than I have, Amber is my older sister. She's so much older, in fact, she could almost be my mother (kidding.) There are many memories from my childhood where it sure did feel like she was my mother, but now I look back and appreciate her guidance and allowing me to learn from her accomplishments... and wrong doings. But, what are big sisters for, am I right? I couldn't imagine marrying my best friend without her by my side,
Madison Cross
Madison Cross - Bridesmaid
Madison was the first baby girl to make me an aunt, even though we're close enough in age for her to be my little sister. Thankfully, my parents learned from their previous accident. I remember being eleven years old sitting in that tiny waiting room with everybody and their MOTHER (it seemed like.) Everyone was anxiously awaiting her arrival due to the fact that she was the first baby we'd had in the family in quite some time. I gave Maddy her first bath in the hospital, changed many diapers, saved her from choking on ramen noodles as a toddler, spent many days watching her excel at the sport she loves, and most recently getting her ready for her first prom. I'm so thankful the good lord has allowed me to watch her grow up the last sixteen years. I'm even more thankful to know we will get to share another milestone in both of our lives.
Marlee Cross
Marlee Cross - Bridesmaid
Marlee was the second lucky winner of the aunt lottery. I remember being in the middle of a high school softball game back in 2011 when my parents got the call that Amber was in labor. We dropped everything, headed to the hospital, covered in dirt from head to toe, and a few hours later we were passing a newborn around. Marlee came out with those tiny eyes wide open ready to take on the world, and boy has she. She is so loving and one of the most selfless kids I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so lucky to have her standing by my side on our wedding day.
Kaylee Murray
Kaylee Murray - Bridesmaid
Oh, the stories I could tell about this friendship... Kaylee is my oldest friend, not by age, but in years. Years, referring back to those horrid memories I have from middle school. She was the only good from that era of time, along with softball. We shared a common love for that sport, and actually spent many years together on the softball field. After high school, our times spent together seemed to become fewer and farther in between. The beauty of a life long friend, especially one like Kaylee, is no matter how much time has passed since we've talked or seen one another, we always pick up right where we left off. It just wouldn't be our wedding day without her standing beside me, especially since she's literally been there for every life event for the last fourteen years.
Chae Ash
Chae Ash - Bridesmaid
I remember walking into class at Dalton State a little over five years ago and seeing this strawberry blonde chatting it up with the folks at her table. I sat across the room, by myself, because I cared about nothing other than completing the class and getting the heck out of there. Little did I know, that at some point that semester, that same strawberry blonde wouldn't give me a choice in the matter. Chae plopped down beside me one day, we started talking, and she mentioned the sorority she was in- AOII. Chae begged and begged for me to attend a social, in hopes I would join. I eventually did and over time, she became one of my closest friends. To this day, we joke about the fact that Chae forced her friendship upon me. I'm thankful she did because I couldn't imagine life without her friendship! I can't wait to have her stand by my side!
Mackenzie Moreland
Mackenzie Moreland - Bridesmaid
Although Mack and I's friendship has only been over the course of the last five years, I feel like I have known her my entire life. Mack is one of those friends that you hold onto and never let go, no matter the circumstances. We met on a sorority retreat back in 2019. We shared our love for country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. I knew instantly that we'd be life long friends. She is so giving and one of the kindest people I know. She is always a phone call and text away... Well, at least within a few business days anyway! I couldn't imagine experiencing this season of life or any other season without her! I am so excited to have a friend like her standing by my side!
Reese Johnson
Reese Johnson - Bridesmaid
I gained another sister in Reese the second Logan and I decided this was a forever thing! When she's not taking a nap, she is always by my side at the shop, race track, or ready for the random errand runs. Some people never get to experience a close relationship with their in-laws but I am so thankful the good lord answered my prayers when it comes to the Johnson's- especially Reese! She welcomed me with open arms since the beginning and I am forever thankful for that! She is so giving and kind and always going above and beyond for her people. I can't wait to have her stand by my side!
Hannah Momon
Hannah Momon - Bridesmaid
Hannah and I's friendship was undeniable the day we started coaching together at Cedartown High School. Then, lucky me, I got stuck with her as my 4th grade teammate at Northside Elementary. Over the last year, we have spent more time together on the ball field and at work than we have with our own families at home. I wouldn't have it any other way! We spend 100% of our days laughing and trying to survive classrooms full of ten year olds. I am so thankful to have her by my side an extra day this year!
