can I bring a plus one?
Your invitations will be addressed to those invited. We have a strict guest list and we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and we ask that you please do not bring a guest unless we have specifically invited them. Thank you for your understanding! ♡
What is the Dress code?
We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. The weather would likely be warm, though you should bring a jacket. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to either one of us! ♡
What time would you like me to arrive & what time does your wedding finish?
We would appreciate all guests arriving by 2pm for a 2:30pm start. Our wedding will then continue until 11pm with everyone out by 12am. If you are not on the bus, please organise a lift to your accommodation. Please do not drive home if you have been drinking.
Are my children welcome?
While we absolutely love your little ones, we have limited numbers for our wedding and have only invited a small number of people under the age of 18 (immediate family). We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can relax, socialise and dance with us. Thank you for your understanding ♡
What if I forget to RSVP?
If you do not RSVP, you will unfortunately not be able to attend the wedding. If you were to show up without RSVPing, there will be no seats or a meal for you. Make sure you RSVP before the deadline! Thank you!
Where is Jetsonville?
Jetsonville is located about 15 mins south of Bridport towards Scottsdale. The wedding is located in a renovated barn with stunning views of the gorgeous Tasmanian countryside. Head over to the directions tab for a map from Launceston.
Is there Food & Drink available?
Yes! There will be an open bar & food available from 3:30pm. More info on the menu to come. Please let us know if you have an dietary requirements so we can accomodate you!
What transport is available? Is there parking onsite?
There will be a return bus from Bridport to Jetsonville for those who have RSVP'd that they required transportation ($15 per person). The bus will have multiple stops along Bridport's main road for your convenience. Please be ready for the bus from 1:30pm. Alternatively, there is free onsite parking available.
What happens between the ceremony & reception?
After the ceremony, we will begin Champange Hour! The bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Whilst waiting, guests will have access to drinks & nibbles.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
A little bit of both! We are planning to have our ceremony outdoors (weather permitted) and reception indoors.
Where is the closest accomodation?
The bridal party & families will be staying in Bridport. There is plenty of accomodation located in either Bridport or Scottsdale such as airbnbs, motels and caravan parks. If you have any questions, we are more than happy to help you.
Are you expecting gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the only present we need, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
Can I take photos & post on social media?
Yes except for the ceremony, we encourage guests to take pictures on our day, and would love for you to send them to us throughout the night, we will have our numbers on a sign for you to text them too! All we ask is that you do not use your phones or cameras during the ceremony and that you wait to post any photos of us on social media until we have posted a photo ourselves.
