In January 2016, Noah’s father, David Peters, accepted a pastor’s position at New Prospect Church in Chatsworth, Georgia. Soon after, Noah made the move from Pineville, Kentucky to Cleveland, Tennessee, commuting an hour each day to attend Murray County High School. It was there that he first met Jayden.Noah and Jayden’s paths crossed in the fall of 2016 in show choir class. At the time, Noah was a senior and Jayden was a sophomore. They quickly became friends and even performed together in the Valentine’s Day “love song” show, singing Shawn Mendes’ hit Stitches for the whole school. That same year, they competed against each other in the school talent show, where both walked away with awards. Before long, the two were well known at Murray for singing the national anthem at nearly every sporting event.As graduation approached, Noah began making college plans. Their choir teacher, Angela Greeson, encouraged him to audition for Lee University’s world-renowned a cappella group, the Voices of Lee. Following her advice, Noah auditioned—and was accepted. He sang the national anthem at graduation, then moved on to Lee University to pursue music with the Voices. Two years later, in 2019, Jayden also graduated from Murray after singing the national anthem at her own ceremony, and she too went on to attend Lee University.Through the years, Noah and Jayden stayed in touch via social media and texting, occasionally checking in about music. Their story picked back up in Cleveland, Tennessee, on July 13, 2023, when they unexpectedly ran into each other at a karaoke night. Together, they performed another love song—this time Shallow by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Not long after, on February 6th 2024, Noah invited her to sing in his barber chair and her rendition of Shania Twain’s Any Man of Mine went viral. From that moment, their friendship rekindled, and they began spending more time together. After a long day recording in Nashville, Noah invited Jayden back to sing some more on February 19th, 2024. Over the next year and a half, that friendship blossomed into something more. On January 21, 2025, while driving home from a day of singing in Nashville together, Noah reached over and held Jayden’s hand for the first time. Just days later, on January 26th, 2025, they shared their first kiss in the parking lot of Noah’s barbershop in Benton, TN. On February 23rd, 2025, Noah asked Jayden to be his girlfriend. Since then, Noah and Jayden’s relationship has grown through countless adventures, all while realizing how God had actually been weaving their stories together from the very beginning. They knew He had made them for each other—and everything finally made sense. On September 14, 2025, Noah asked Jayden to be his wife. And Jayden said yes to forever!
