Tristan and I were blessed to grow up together at OCS. However, this was our first picture ever taken together as a “couple”. 7th grade us had no idea that we would be together for the rest of our lives!

Tristan and I were highschool sweethearts! We were lucky enough to be able to watch each other accomplish our goals and support each other from the sidelines. I would not give up those years at OCS for anything!

Tristan and I made the hard decision to do long distance in college. He decided to go to the Airforce Academy to play football in Colorado, while I went to Harding University in Arkansas. This was definitely the hardest period of our relationship, considering we had never been apart from each other before. However, I believe we grew the closest during this phase of life despite the 15 hours apart. We realized our relationship could withstand anything and how important we were in each other’s lives!

Luckily for me, Tristan decided to transfer to ULM after his first semester at Air Force, making our distance only 3 hours instead of 15! This change led to many weekends on the road to see each other, but I truly wouldn’t have had it any other way!

This was hands down the best day of my life and the biggest surprise ever! Tristan and I had always discussed marriage, but we were only sophomores at the time at two different colleges. However, neither of us cared because we both knew it was right and that we would spend the rest of our lives together! This is my favorite picture from the day he proposed because I feel like it truly encaptures all the emotions!

We decided to wait around a year and a half to get married so that Tristan could graduate, but we sure have enjoyed the engaged life! Everyday I look down at my hand and am reminded of the immense blessings that Jesus has given me and the amazing man that He put in my life. As I look back at our story, I see His hands orchestrating so many different chapters, and I can’t wait to see His plans for our future. I am honored to be loved by Tristan everyday, and I cannot wait to be his wife!
