Our Wedding

Our story began in the most unexpected way—a chance meeting at a cozy brunch restaurant in Calgary. It was a brief encounter, and at the time, neither of us imagined that it would be the first chapter of something so special.A year later, we met again when a mutual friend—who also happens to be Jayden’s sister-in-law—decided to set us up. Though the timing wasn’t quite right, the spark was there, waiting for its moment and God’s perfect timing.That moment came another year later. Just before a friend’s wedding, we found ourselves spending a week together, going on the kind of dates that make time stand still. By the end of that week, we knew we didn’t want to say goodbye, and our love story truly began.From the start, our relationship has been an adventure. Despite the miles between us, we’ve made it work—traveling back and forth every two weeks, sharing laughter, love, and countless unforgettable moments. Those adventures, both big and small, have made us stronger and brought us closer than ever.On December 21, during the magic of the holiday season, Jayden asked Melissa the question that would shape the rest of their lives. Without hesitation, she said yes!As we look forward to our wedding day and the life we’re building together, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support from our family and friends. Camping on site 

We would love for you to come camp with us for the weekend, please contact Jayden or Melissa about accommodations as spaces available for our event are not shown on the mountain aire website.

Staying off site 

There are hotels available in Olds which is just over an hour from the venue. Additionally their are first come first serve provincial campgrounds in the area.

Accommodations 

A friendship that grew from being brother’s. He’s the lovable goofball who always seems to call at just the right time, especially when life gets tough. Despite being 1,200 kilometers away (soon to be 600), he is and forever will be Jayden’s best friend.

We will be having coolers and beer available at the reception by donation to the honeymoon so bring cash! :)

Friday BBQ and Sunday Brunch 

If you are in the area we will be having a bbq on the evening of the 20th. Everyone is come to join but please let us know you will be there and bring a dessert or salad.

On the morning of the 22nd we will be having a pancake breakfast/clean up party. Everyone is welcome.
