In two quiet towns just a few miles apart—Ray in Ponca City, me in Tonkawa—our lives began with no knowledge of each other, though the universe seemed to be stitching the threads early. As a little girl, I once sat in a garage salon for a haircut from Ray’s mom, unaware I was already brushing up against my future. Years later, he drove a baby-blue truck through high school—the same one that carried me home from the hospital after I was born. There are more of these stories. So many small overlaps. Like fate playing a long, quiet game. We finally met in 2019. The moment felt natural, like slipping into something familiar. We started dating at the start of 2020, and it was clear almost instantly that this was something different—something real and full of joy. Together, we’ve built a life full of curiosity and love. We chase new experiences—not because we’re restless, but because we grow through discovery. Whether we’re volunteering, taking a spontaneous road trip, or simply figuring things out side-by-side, we lead with openness and laughter. Bruiser and Buster, our two loyal and aging dogs, have been here for it all, quietly watching us fall in love with each other and the life we’re building. On December 12, 2024, beneath the twinkling lights of the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, we laced up our skates and stepped into a scene that felt like it had been waiting for us. The glow, the music, the stillness of the moment—it all felt surreal. And right there on the ice, Ray knelt down and asked me to marry him. I said yes, with my whole heart. It felt like time folded in on itself—all the near-misses, all the quiet links between us—finally coming full circle. This love—ours—is full of light, laughter, and something that has always felt meant to be. A thousand little moments led us here. And somehow, even after everything that brought us here, it still feels like the beginning of something even more beautiful.

Ashley has a heart of gold. Somehow, she balances being a devoted mom of two, a talented hairstylist, and an incredible wife while still showing up as the most loving, creative, and supportive friend. We’re endlessly thankful for the laughter, encouragement, and care she brings into our lives.

Jack is  Jayden's brother-in-law, but he quickly became one of Ray's good friends.  He’s someone you can always have a deep conversation with, and his wisdom has helped Ray get out of his own way more than once. He has a huge drive to support his family and is quietly one of the most supportive people we know.

Mandi might be Ray’s sister by birth, but she’s Jayden’s sister by heart. She gives endlessly — to her family, her friends, and everyone lucky enough to know her. She’s selfless, strong, and always there when you need her — whether it’s to talk, to help, or to make you laugh when things get heavy. We’re beyond grateful to have her in our corner.

Joe is the definition of a “funcle” — fun, wise, and full of life — but he’s also like a big brother to Ray. Beneath the jokes and laughter is someone deeply caring and loyal. He’s been a constant source of encouragement, always ready with advice, perspective, and a good laugh exactly when it’s needed most. We’re lucky to call him family and even luckier to call him friend.

Aubrey and Jayden first met during their time at Iron Range Engineering, where they served together as co-presidents of the Society of Women Engineers. Even before meeting in person, their connection was instant — built on respect, shared values, and a love of learning. Aubrey's creativity, courage, and compassion inspire Jayden every day, and their kindness brightens every space they enter.

If you know Ray, you’ve probably met—or at least heard about—his dad. He’s someone Ray deeply admires, who has shaped him into the man he is today. He has a rare ability to solve even the most complex problems with calm and clarity, and his presence makes life better for everyone he meets.

The ornate interior, elaborate ceilings and stained glass of the historic Poncan Theatre recall the luxury of this circa 1927 Vaudeville house and movie palace. The Poncan has been carefully revitalized, maintaining much of its original grandeur so future generations can enjoy the architectural and historical significance of the building. It is on the National Register of Historic Buildings and is the one of the interests of downtown Ponca City, which is also registered as a National Historic District.&nbsp;The Poncan is one of the few remaining examples of the "atmospheric" theater design.&nbsp;The original designers wanted visitors to feel as though they were transported to an elegant villa on the Bay of Naples as soon as they stepped foot into the building.&nbsp;During restoration, one of the&nbsp;world's largest collections of hand-painted lobby art was discovered. This unique treasure trove of historical original movie posters, from films of 1931-1937, is very rare.&nbsp;These works have been cleaned and framed for visitors to enjoy.&nbsp;
