I worked as a part time teller at a bank here in Lubbock. I started working in February of 2019 and around March, I noticed Dillon coming through the drive through every Monday around 4:00. For a few weeks in a row, I would always make sure to call dibs on helping him deposit his checks when he came. I remember, one afternoon going home and telling my mom all about him and that one day I was going to marry him. (Little did I actually know!) I finally got the nerve to look him up on instagram and followed him. To my surprise he already followed me! (It was from years past because we had so many mutual friends.) The following Monday after I followed Dillon on instagram, he showed up to the bank as scheduled. However, that day I had forgotten to put my name tag in the window. One of my friends realized this and shoved it in the window and pointed right at it so Dillon would see my name. I was so embarrassed!!! However, to my surprise again, I guess he looked me on up instagram that night and then decided to message me "hi." The rest is history and here we are nearly five years later!
Jayden and I met at Peoples Bank. I used to come to the bank every Monday when we first met. I had been going through the bank for a couple of weeks, but this one week, I was going to ask Jayden for her number, but I chickened out. I didn't end up asking her but as I was pulling out her friends started putting her name tag in the window so I would notice it and would remember her name. So the next day, I was outside playing basketball and decided I would DM Jayden on instagram. All I said was "hi." I was very nervous when I sent it, but Jayden replied back and my heart kinda dropped because I didn't know if she was going to reply or not.
