Jayden had just set out on a short journey to the edge of her hometown to continue an athletic career in Track & Field as a Chippewa at Central Michigan University. She was going to School to obtain a degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Colin also found himself leaving home in Illinois and attending CMU as an aspiring graduate of their Neuroscience program. Although not a collegiate athlete, he did manage to compete in fraternity sporting events such as cornhole and beerpong after his studying was complete.

Ultimately their decisions to attend CMU led the two to meet for the first time on the first day of Freshman year in a Biology class. Colin had entered the class knowing nobody but was pleasantly surprised when the teacher had assigned him to sit close to a very impressionable girl named Jayden. The class they were in required lots of focus and Jayden was doing very well - while Colin was diverting that attention by focusing on ways to spark a conversation with her.

Eventually after numerous attempts, Jayden had begun to appreciate Colin’s persistance and agreed to a date. The two went out to Jayden’s favorite Mexican spot in town and followed it up with a trip to CMU’s sports complex to play pool and shoot some H.O.R.S.E. To this day Colin maintains that he had won the game despite Jayden’s claims of him “shooting with two hands”. Regardless, even though Colin had a great time with her Jayden would not agree to a second date.

Through the next year or so the would be couple found themselves together in class and frequently assigned in groups to work alongside one another. Colin again used his time to try and win Jayden’s attention each day, semester after semester. This would last about a year until Jayden would once again give him a chance. This time, Colin seized the opportunity and swept her off her feet with a homemade Italian dinner for two. Since that date the two have been inseperable (The Crowd Goes Wild).

After Graduation Colin had moved South to Tennessee to start his career and Jayden stayed in Michigan to finish her education. Although the two were so far apart, their love kept them together until they would reunite in Tennessee. For the last two years the two have enjoyed life everyday together. From golfing, watching Da Bears, raising numerous living things and being each other’s best friends, life was great.

Colin had known that he had found the one to share his life with and decided to make the proposal. On a beautiful night after a fine dining excursion, he got down on one knee and Jayden happily said Yes!
The two have been enjoying their engagement together and are very excited to officialy marry and start the rest of their lives together.
