Why Utah?
The Salt Flats… that’s why! Look up “Salt Flats elopement” on google. You’ll understand then. But really, your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience so why not do it in a once in a lifetime location!
How do we get to Utah?
We would love to have you enjoy this day with us! First RSVP… Then book your airfare and car…. We will share housing accommodations once we have a head count in the near future!
When do I need to arrive?
You can arrive whenever you’d like before 2pm on May 12, 2026. Keep in mind there is a 2 hour drive from the airport to the Salt Flats.
Most of the guest will be arriving in Salt Lake City on May 11, 2026 and departing on May 13, 2026. However, you may arrive earlier or depart later if that is your preference! Just don’t make any plans on May 12, 2026. You’ll be spending that day with us!
Where will I stay?
We are still working out those details. But we would like for everyone to stay in the same hotel. Once we pick one we will let guests know the booking details so they can go ahead book their own lodging!
What should I expect the weather to be?
Spring time in the Salt Flats is soft, bright and airy. With temperatures ranging from the low 40s to high 70s. The texture of the salt is typically very smooth to lightly textured. The salt can be a little wet depending on recent storms, which creates the dreamy mirror reflection everyone loves. Spring time in the flats can be windy.
