Both Jaydon and Elyse started college at Moody Bible Institute. They both are majoring in Youth Ministry and have had classes together since the first semester!

Elyse and Jaydon have had the same friend group since their second semester of school! Although they did not date the whole time, they did many fun things together!

Jaydon and Elyse both went their separate ways during the fall break of Sophomore year, not knowing that break would change their relationship. Elyse texted Jaydon during that break, checking in on how he was doing, and they have never stopped texting since :) Elyse Started to like Jaydon during this month, but she did not want to pursue a dating relationship at this time.

Elyse and Jaydon started to hang out in smaller groups and one-on-one around Christmas 2023! Elyse started to suspect Jaydon liked her around this time! and Jaydon realized by the end of winter break that he liked her!

January of 2024 both Jaydon and Elyse realized they were getting to be closer than friends, so Elyse invited Jaydon to "do homework" at a local coffee shop, where Jaydon confessed his feelings for Elyse. Elyse also confessed her feelings for Jaydon too :)

Jaydon and Elyse spent the next three weeks praying, talking to each other's close friends, and going out to get to know each other! on February 15th, 2024, Jaydon officially asked Elyse to be his girlfriend! He wrote her a nice letter, and they went out for Thai food!

Jaydon and Elyse's first official date was to Chinatown Chicago! They got coffee, Korean food, and boba and sat and talked in a park! It was very cold but they had a great time!

After one month of dating, Elyse and Jaydon went to Elyse's house for the first time! They also went on a trip with their friends to Pennsylvania and New York City! It was fun for them to get to know each other over a longer period of time! They made so many good memories together!

Elyse met most of Jaydon's family for the first time when she and her friend Amanda went to their house for Easter!

At the end of the semester, Jaydon and Elyse said their first "I love you," and shared their first kiss together under the stars!

Elyse and Jaydon have birthdays 3 days apart (July 8th (Elyse) and July 11th (Jaydon)), so they got to celebrate together this summer!

One of Jaydon and Elyse's favorite memories from the Summer of 2024 was going hiking at Devils Lake together! they hiked all the way to the top and got to enjoy the beautiful views together!

After the summer was over, Jaydon and Elyse began their Junior Year at Moody! They started to look for rings together in September and started to have more serious conversations about marriage and life together!

Much of Elyse and Jaydon's family met together during Moody's Candlelight Carols concert and they had dinner together!

After the semester was over Jaydon went to Elyse's house and they celebrated Christmas with her family! He also went to Minnesota and Wisconsin with her family to celebrate more!

Then Elyse went to Jaydon's house for Christmas and they celebrated together!

The PROPOSAL!! January 4th, 2025! Elyse said Yes! and the wedding planning started soon after!

Jaydon and Elyse celebrated Valentine's and 1 year of officially dating!!

Jaydon and Elyse Spend the summer doing their internships and living 2 hours apart! They visited each other on the weekends when they could and FaceTimed almost every day!

Jaydon and Elyse ended the summer by spending a weekend at at family friends house and celebrating 1.5 years together! They are preparing to start their Senior year together at Moody Bible Institute!

Jaydon and Elyse both have Residencies at The Moody Church this school year as well as jobs and campus leadership roles! They are busy trying to maintain life at Moody and plan their future together!
