How do I find the yacht?

Enter into your GPS “Baytown Marina.” The marina where the yacht is located is within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

Do I have to RSVP?

Yes! We're so excited to celebrate our special day with you. If you haven’t already RSVP’d, please reach out to either the bride or groom. We understand that circumstances can change, and we’re happy to make accommodations if someone is unable to attend. Your presence means the world to us, and we want to ensure everyone is included. Looking forward to celebrating together!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

This is an unplugged ceremony! We ask that no photos or videos be taken during the ceremony and encourage our family and guests to be present to minimize distractions. Pictures and videos can be taken during the reception as we celebrate with you. Please use our hashtag when uploading to social media. #YouHadMeAtLoyd

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors rain or shine.

Are children allowed

Of course! All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What is the dress code?

Semi casual beach/boat attire. (Ex. sundresses, polo shirts, and slacks or shorts) No swimsuits or heels.

What are the rules onboard the charter?

No heels allowed onboard. No alcohol can be brought on board by guests. No open flames allowed onboard. You will be charged if you cause damage to any equipment or boat furnishings/property. All children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No glass permitted on the beach. Parking at marina is limited. Ceremony will not be delayed for anyone running late. If you cannot make the scheduled boarding time you will miss the event.

Why can’t I wear heels?

The venue is requesting no heels be worn to prevent you from getting stuck in the boards on the dock or yacht. Any damages made to the vessel will be paid by the offending party. There are 2 flights of stairs and your safety is our priority.

Why can’t I bring alcohol onboard?

We will have a limited open bar available for a portion of the reception for adults of age to partake in responsible consumption. The venue reserves the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any individual they deem has reached their limit. The venue will not allow anyone to board the vessel with their own alcoholic beverages for the safety of the vessel and crew. All food and drink consumed on board must be from the vessel.

Why will there be fireworks?

The bay celebrates Memorial Day every year with a Sunday night firework show. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for anyone with sensitivity to loud noises, fear of fireworks, or PTSD. We are hoping by letting you know in advance you can take necessary precautions to protect yourself and your family. Your comfort and safety are our priority.

What health measures are we taking?

We ask that if you are feeling unwell to please be courteous of others and not attend in person but join us for the live stream.

What if I Can’t attend in person?

We are hoping to stream this event for our guests unable to make the journey to Florida.
