Q + A

What is the dress code?

We want our guests to look and more importantly feel their best! Have that extra fancy dress in the back of your closet? Nows the time to get it out! We are encouraging (but not requiring) black tie attire. We are hoping for our wedding to be very elegant, upscale, and classy and appreciate our guest being apart of that!

Can we bring our kids?

While we will be having limited children attending, we are doing our best to make this evening be for adults only. We hope this notice is enough time for you to make other arrangements to take a night off and celebrate with us! For those that do have children in attendance, please keep in mind that the chapel area is small and echos meaning that any small noise will be very loud inside. We ask that children remain quiet during the ceremony and if needed to exit do so.

Can I bring a date?

Unless otherwise stated on your invitation, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests or plus ones at this time. We want to have this day to celebrate with only our closest friends and family, allowing us to spend time with the ones we love most! We thank you for understanding!

The reception will be directly across from the white chapel in a large covered tent.

Living in the midwest it is very unpredictable but we are hoping for warm weather in May! Both of the ceremony and reception locations are both indoors and covered for the off chance that it does rain.

In order to have adequate time to park and walk to the ceremony location, please plan to arrive no later than 4:30 so that we can promptly start the ceremony at 5:00.

Where should we stay?

If you need overnight accommodations, we recommend the nearby city of South bend, Niles, or Granger!

Can we take our own photos?

Please take all the photos you'd like except for the ceremony. We are asking that all phones be put away during the ceremony and that all guests are mindful of the photo + video teams doing their jobs. We would love for you to capture this day right alongside us :)
