Jayme and Josh first met in the Fall of 2014, after they were introduced through mutual friends. After texting back and forth, they soon discovered that Josh had just moved into the very same apartment building that Jayme was living in for the past 5 years... What are the odds, right?!

On November 6th, 2014 (after a quick screening in the building lobby), Jayme and Josh spent their first date sipping wine and eating tapas at a local wine bar. It didn't take long for them to realize that there was a genuine connection and soon the two were inseparable.

Fast forward to July 27th, 2016. While sailing the seven seas on a family cruise, Josh asked Jayme's parents for her hand in marriage. After some quick hugs and kisses (mostly from Marty), they went back about their business, so as not to spoil the surprise for Jayme.

With much help from family and friends, Josh spent the next few months planning the perfect proposal for Jayme.

On November 5th, 2016 – two years after their first date – Jayme and Josh arrived at her grandparents' house in Queens (where she thought they were celebrating her Nanny's birthday). Upon entering the house, Jayme heard a familiar tune and knew that something was up. She continued up the stairs, only to find both of their families surrounded by flowers, candles, lights and decorations. Still in shock, she turned around, saw Josh down on one knee… and as they say, the rest is history.
