Doors open at the Pines at 9:00am. At this time the girls will begin getting ready as everyone else starts setting up! Boys need to get really around 11:30am. Our photographer will be arriving around 12:30pm. If you are immediate family please be here around then for family pictures if you are not already here helping set up. Between then and about 4:15pm we will be doing pictures. Ceremony starts at 4:30pm. Reception will follow but please note the bar will not be open until 7:00pm. Reception ends at 11:00pm for clean up and tear down!
Dress Code
There really isn’t one other than the traditional “don’t wear white.” The ceremony (weather permitting) will be outdoors, the reception will be indoors with outdoor entertainment provided also. Shoot for western formal.
Are we having an unplugged ceremony?
Yes! We are. We chose to have an unplugged wedding ceremony as we will have two photographers and two videographers on site and we don’t want any phones blocking or featured in our pictures. With two photographers and two videographers, we have a chance to capture many small, precious moments and we want everyone to enjoy it all with us through their own eyes instead of a phone screen! We will greatly appreciate it!
Are children and plus one’s allowed?
Of course! Feel free to bring your kids along with you, we would love to have them! Please make sure that you list any kids or plus one’s on your RSVP card! For those bringing kids, there is a chance that some explicit music will be played throughout the night however, so please be aware and cautious about that.
Reception Parking/Security
There will be security on the premises during the time the bar is open. This will be about 7pm to 11pm. You are allowed to leave your vehicle in the parking lot overnight, but it must be gone by 9am the next morning. Please don’t drink & drive. If you need a ride please call for one! We want everyone safe.
What’s on the menu?
Great question! The Barn at 52 Pines has a wide variety of choices and we decided to go with the Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, corn, & dinner rolls, along with an open bar & dessert table. Bring your appetites!
When do we leave?
Any outdoor music will be done by 10pm and inside will be 11pm. We will probably start saying our final goodbyes around 10:45 & we kindly ask that you pick up and throw away any garbage on or around your table to help us out, as we will be cleaning up and tearing down decorations that night and will need to do so by 1am.
