What date should I RSVP by?

Please let us know whether you can join us by going to the “RSVP” tab on our website! In order to have final numbers for our vendors, we request that you please submit your responses by September 1, 2024.

What should I wear?

Our wedding will be a formal event. For gentlemen, this can look like matching suits or dress pants with a blazer jacket. For the ladies, options range from nice pantsuits to elegant dresses. But, most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy the evening with us!

Am I allowed to bring my children? What about a plus one?

We kindly request that only those listed on the RSVP attend.

Will there be an open bar?

We'll have a bar with a limited menu available for most of the night. Please drink responsibly; our staff may intervene if needed to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Pear Tree Estate has a lot of parking available! There are two lots on site, with one closer to the entrance than the other. If possible, please save those spots for those who need it for accessibility purposes.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We would love for you to help capture our day! However, we have hired a wonderful photographer to take pictures and videos of our ceremony so we kindly ask that you follow our request for an unplugged ceremony. We will be sharing the images taken during this time, so please soak in the moment with us and enjoy the images provided! That being said, we encourage you to take your own photos during any other part of our day. Thank you for being understanding of our requests!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Pear Tree Estate is a gorgeous, open venue that should be easy to access! With both the ceremony and venue taking place in the same building, we are happy to share that our big day should be accessible to all!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Due to the inconsistency of Illinois weather, we have opted for an indoor ceremony and reception. However, weather permitting, we plan to have our cocktail hour outdoors on the beautiful patio. In case of a chilly day, we recommend bringing a jacket or shawl for the hour spent outdoors.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Due to the venue being located on the edge of town, public transportation is not feasible. We recommend renting a car if flying into town or trying to get an Uber.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony? When does the reception end?

We kindly request guests to arrive no earlier than 3:30 PM for our ceremony, which begins promptly at 4:00 PM. The night will conclude at 11:00 PM. We can’t wait for an evening of celebrations!
