We met at Garland High School while Jazmine was a senior and Mark was a junior. Mark jokes that Jazmine is a cougar because he was 16 when they met and she was 18. He was only 16 for 20 days after they met.

We took this picture because we did not think that we would ever hang out after Jazmine graduated (we're so dumb). Jazmine specifically saved a graduation ticket for Mark to see her graduate.

They spent a lot of time together that summer- their bond growing stronger. Mark even walked once from his house to Jazmine's- that took about 7 hours. It wasn't long before they started offically dating on August 1, 2016, just 6 months after they formally met.

We had been to many concerts together, but we started an odd trend of trying to go see Slipknot every year (before COVID).

We started wearing matching pajama pants for the holidays (that year, it was Halloween).

Mark and Jazmine moved into their first apartment on March 6, just a few days prior to the COVID lockdown.

One of the rules of living at their first apartment was no pets allowed- but when Jazmine found a pitbull they started to lovingly call Shosha in the cemetery, she became their first baby for a few months. They spoiled her with Wendy's burgers and cuddled with her often. One day she left the apartment and never came back- they miss her very much and grateful for the time they spent with her.

We were having a lot of fun being together during COVID.

We moved into our second apartment- and contracted COVID right before Thanksgiving. Mark was able to still cheer up Jazmine by making dinner and having a virtual Animal Crossing date.

Jazmine missed Shosha a lot- and convinced Mark that they needed another dog. Willow came into the family; she was truly their baby. Mark trained her while Jazmine spoiled her with clothes and let her sleep in the bed with them after the second night they got her.

Mark always made sure (and still does to this day) Jazmine felt special on her birthday.

Took another road trip to San Antonio with Willow.

They enjoyed going out to other bars as well.

They were starting to become frequent guests of Dallas' Sunday night goth club, The Church.

They went to Corpus Christi again with Jazmine's family this time- on this particular day, Jazmine threw up for the first time since she found out she was pregnant. Mark was so shocked that he took a Polaroid picture to commemorate this day.

As parents, they were very proud of the fact that even with hectic work schedules, they made time to take Sol to the beach. She was so happy!
