We first met in 2012 at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Back then, Jean didn’t speak English, and I was too nervous to speak Spanish, but thanks to Google Translate, we found a way to understand each other. Jean started teaching himself English (with a dictionary), and I slowly found my voice in Spanish.

Our friendship grew into love, and in 2014, we officially became a couple. Over the past 11 years, we've grown up together, navigating life, celebrating milestones, traveling to new places, and supporting one another through every goal and challenge. What we share is the kind of bond that comes once in a lifetime.

On February 24th, 2024, we became husband and wife. Just four days later, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with cancer. Our wedding was canceled for my treatments, and what was meant to be our happiest days became one of the hardest times we've ever faced. But through it all, Jean showed me what it truly means to love someone in sickness and in health. His strength, kindness, and unwavering support held us both together.

After everything we’ve been through, we are finally able to celebrate this love, with all of you, our favorite people, in our favorite place!
