We originally met through Blue, Curtis' friend and Jeanette's big brother, at your typical Mazón family BBQ. A night of drinks, food, and hanging out in the back yard. Curtis, as usual, was the last to leave, so Jeanette and Blue walked him to his car. Once inside the house Blue could not stop saying, "Did you see Curtis? He couldn't stop looking at you." It became a running joke for many years to come.

We continued to run into each other at different events, parties and ball games, but it took us many years to realize that what Blue was seeing was not just in his head. We may have been looking at each other the whole time.

The first night we spent one on one was at Fate Brewery. Our first thoughts of something more at OHSO. And we made it official after a night at Mackenzie's, our local hang out, on July 7th, 2022. So now, we are so excited for things to come full circle and celebrate our marriage at the beautiful Pelican brewery with all of you!!
