We met online. Isn't that the way it is done these days. Jeannette sent Steve a smile; the way one initiates contact at our chosen online dating services. Steve would have never seen Jeannette's profile because he had a 50 mile radius for potential prospects. Jeannette had hers set world wide. HAHA!

Steve responded with a smile. He lived in Valparaiso, she lived in Fishers...at least they were both in Indiana! She was scheduled to travel to Chicago and would be passing by on the way. A meeting for coffee at Panera on March 31, 2022 at the Merrillville exit. Jeannette suggested, Steve agreed.

The thoughts, "She looks like her picture...and...he looks like his picture." A bear hug and a kiss on the cheek.

The rest is pretty much history...

The next weekend a meeting in Lafayette, the half way point. Then the following weekend, Steve drove to Fishers.

As Stevie Nicks sings,
