dan and I first matched on Christian mingle back in February of 2023 and unfortunately weren’t able to talk to each other or communicate in any way on the app without paying for it. whenever you have a Christian mingle account it will send you emails for all of the people that like your profile. well Dan kept getting the emails from people that were in different states and very very far away since the app doesn’t have a limit you can set for distance. so he prayed about it and told God that if I was meant to be in his life for God to make it known. later that same day, he opened Hinge and I was the first account there when he opened the app. at that time, which we didn’t know then, we both still had a tiny bit of life left to live before we were truly ready to be in each others lives. about a month after that for whatever reason, I felt like God kept pushing me to reach out to him and see if he needed any prayer. well that stuck with Dan and then about a month later, he texted me to see how I was doing. fast forward to April 22nd, 2023 when we had our first date at De Fer, something about it was different. we connected on levels that were just different and the focus was on Jesus, which is exactly what we were both seeking and praying for. it felt comfortable, safe and a piece of home that we never had before. we knew pretty quickly that we wanted to keep seeing each other and by our second date we decided we wanted to be exclusive. our relationship is truly an answer to so many prayers that both of us didn’t even realize at the time. we have created a space for us that is just so beautiful and allows for us to be our true selves with growth mixed in. our relationship provides encouragement, support, unconditional love, goofiness, deep dives into conversations and emotions, amazing communication, challenges and just a million other things that are helping us to grow together as a couple and separately as individuals. we got engaged about 1 year after our first date on April 19,2024 at the Point in Pittsburgh. that is the place where Dan shared what happened with our Christian mingle/ Hinge experience and where we had our first kiss. it’s a place that is like a second home to us. it was just the perfect place for us to share a life changing moment together. we absolutely CANNOT wait to begin this journey of marriage together and are just so blessed that God placed us together to spend our lives together🤍 may 23,2025 cannot come soon enough💒

The ceremony will begin at 4pm and the reception will end at 10:30pm. We will be doing a sparkler send-off around 9:30 and have a surprise so make sure to stick around for that! 3.
