Q + A

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

We have decided to have the wedding ceremony outdoors rain or shine! The reception will be indoor and outdoor depending on the weather.

Is there a dress code?

We ask that you dress semi-formal, NO white at all or colors that are close to white, blush, light green/sage green, or gold as those colors are reserved for the wedding party/family. We ask that you don’t wear jeans and you dress respectfully and modestly. If you have any questions, we would be happy to elaborate further!

What is the weather like in the area?

That is a good question, that we won’t be able to answer till the day of. Nebraska does what Nebraska wants to do.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity and our desire for an intimate celebration, we are only able to invite guests specifically named on the invitation or in the RSVP details on this page. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Jedzia and she will be able to answer them. Thank you for your understanding.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Of course! Just remember your children are your full responsibility. We will have some coloring pages for the children and other activities, we just ask that the children are supervised and in safe hands all day and night.

Will there be menu options for guests with dietary restrictions?

Jedzia has celiac disease, so she can not have gluten containing products. To accommodate for Jedzia all of the food will be gluten free and we ask that you don’t bring any other food in without talking to us first due to the potential for cross contamination and Jedzia getting seriously ill. If you have dietary restricts as well, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us and we will see if we can accommodate your restrictions, if we can’t we will inform you. We definitely understand not being able to eat things at gatherings and would like for all to enjoy. As stated earlier however, please don't bring in your own food without prior approval, we don't want Jedzia getting seriously ill on her and Shane’s big day!

Will there be an open bar?

We will have a ticket bar. 1 ticket would cost $4 and 6 tickets will cost $20. We will be providing guests with a certain number of tickets for free.

Could you give me a link to your registry?

Both registries should be added on website if you go to the registry section!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home, just text us for the address. A wedding card box will be at our reception as well!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We ask that you are early as on time is late. The ceremony will start on time, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to ensure you have parking and are in your seats before the ceremony starts. While you are waiting, we encourage you to mingle and get to know one another!

What time will your wedding reception end?

We plan on partying until around 11 pm. You can leave as needed. However, if you want to stay to the very end and help with cleaning up, we definitely won’t turn that down!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

There will be a short time gap for photos to be taken. During that time, please welcome yourself to refreshments, play some games, mingle, and have some fun!

Can we use our phones to take pictures?

No photos shall be taken during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer who will capture the moments. Please respect our wishes regarding phones during the ceremony! It’ll be an unplugged ceremony, we will take a break for a split second, which will be announced, for you to be able to take a photo or two on your own device at your seat that we would love for you to share with us! During the reception you can take as many photos as you would like, however we want you to maximize your fun, so don’t worry about picture, worry about having the most fun you’ve ever had!

Can I post your wedding on my social media?

We ask guests to please withhold making any social media posts until Jedzia and Shane get a chance to announce and post their wedding first. Jedzia and Shane have spent countless hours planning this day to be amazing. so please let them be the first to post their day!

Will you be live streaming your ceremony?

We will not be live streaming the ceremony.

What health and safety measure will be in place?

We will have first aid kits and someone in charge of calling 911 in an emergency.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Right here on this page! Okay, maybe not in the Q&A area but someone on here! So make sure to check periodically to ensure you don’t miss anything!

I have more questions, who do I contact?

Please contact the bride, groom, mother of the bride (Jen Rolf), or the mother of the groom(Barb Titus). We urge you if it is within a month of the wedding to contact the mothers, if they can’t answer the question they will contact us and we will answer it.
