One of the most fun Fri-Yays you'll ever have - Obviously! We can't say thank you enough to all our people but we're going to try with an evening of dancing, drinks, and delicious food.
The Foundry is located in West Midtown Atlanta, 25 minutes from the airport. While there's an outside area, we'll mainly be inside. No rain plan or outside shoes necessary. (Ladies, if you want to bring some flats for comfort's sake, go for it!).
There are over 200 parking spaces at the venue where we're staying for both ceremony and reception.
The hotels will be nearby, so Uber and Lyft are viable options. If you need recommendations on car rentals, reach out!
Nope! We're going as green as possible to save the trees. Expect an electronic save the date and invitation coming your way - you may want to check that spam folder!
In case you didn't know... Jeff's got quite the background with beer. Don't worry we'll have all your favorite Arches beers and as a special treat, he's making a beer specifically for the wedding, with a little his and her twist. For all the non-beer drinkers, don't worry we've got you!
It will be delicious, of course. If you've got any dietary restrictions just let us know, we won't let anyone get hangry.
We love all of your little ones! Jeff's niece and nephew will be in the wedding as special guests. Considering the late start time, we ask that you take the night off from parenting and get (reasonably) rowdy with us responsibility free.
Yes, Atlanta traffic sucks but its worth it for many of the great sites.
>>> Head to the Beltline! Take a walk, bike ride or rent a scooter along a paved pathway that connects many awesome Atlanta neighborhoods. Start at Piedmont park, pop into Ponce City Market and wrap up at Krog Street for a great restaurant (but really bar!) crawl. Stop into Bantam Pub, sight of our second date and mainstay for some of our favorite things: Veggie wraps (hers), Bell's Two Hearted (his) and wings (ours).
>>> Near the venue, you can found endless places to grab a bite or drink nearby: Barcelona for great tapas / Oku for delicious sushi/ Orsmby's for fun and games / The Painted Duck for Duck Pin bowling / The Optimist for delicious seafood... the list goes on!
>>> Get your sweat on at the gym Jo teaches at on the side.. Take a HIIT or pilates class to burn off or prep for the buffet. www.doitonthedaily.com. Perk: It's within minutes of the venue.
>>> We're known for the Georgia Aquarium, have a legit zoo, the World of Coke, and a ton of Waffle Houses to get your scattered, smothered, and covered on.
