Our Wedding

Our love story began on 9/16/22 when we went on our first date at Stirling Tavern. We hit it off immediately talking about everything but the fact that we went to high school together. So much so that we closed down the bar and even then I don’t think either us wanted the night to end. We knew that night that we had both found someone special. Jeff even told his friends and family that Kayla was “wifey”. Since the first date went so well we went on another that very next week on Kayla’s birthday. We went to dinner at Asahi for sushi which is now a recurring birthday tradition. Wednesday nights became our designated date night which soon extended into weekends.   As time went on our connection only grew stronger. We began to blend our lives together through the introduction of our friends and family. We started to talk about our future, living together, and building our lives together (hopefully including puppies). We moved in together in May of 2024, it was a perfect fit and a stepping stone towards our future.   Then one beautiful September afternoon on a hike with friends at the Ramapo Reservation Jeff surprised Kayla by getting down on one knee and saying “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” as he pulled out an engagement ring and asked her to marry him. Without hesitation Kayla said yes and snatched (literally) the ring from the box. We popped champagne with friends on the top of the mountain where Jeff proposed and called our loved ones to tell them the good news!   Now we are so excited to continue our journey together and officially tie the knot. We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone and keep making lasting memories together forever.

Holiday Inn Express Mt Arlington

Shuttle leaves the hotel at 4:45pm to go to venue. There will only be one shuttle to and from the venue. The shuttle will leave the venue shortly after the reception ends at 11pm to go back to the hotel.
