July, 2013- Jeff and Khrysta met at a Hamburg Hawks baseball game in Waconia, MN.


Khrysta had moved to the Twin Cities from Sioux Falls just a few weeks before this. Jeff had recently returned home to Minnetonka after attending school in Monaco. Jeff was jobless, without a car, and lived with his mom. Despite this, Khrysta was smitten for this ruggedly good-looking, world-traveling comedian she had just met. Khrysta pursued him hard by friend requesting him on Facebook.
