Payge and Jeff's story began back in college. It was during those years when Payge attended the Deaf School and Jeff went to Ball State that they first crossed paths. Payge frequently visited her friend Shelby, and together, they actively participated in Greek life fundraisers and danced the night away in the SNU basement. Jeff couldn't help but notice her vibrant presence, and soon, they began hanging out within larger circles of friends.

As they continued spending time together, they gradually started seeking each other's company in more intimate settings. This evolution in their relationship carried into the summer following Payge's first year at Ball State. Despite their demanding summer jobs, they always managed to carve out time for adventures, exploring Thunder Island, attending free concerts, and indulging in artistic pursuits in local parks. The bond between Jeff and Payge deepened with each passing year, and they cherished countless cherished memories together.

After several movie nights and countless shared experiences, Payge and Jeff finally made the transition from friends to something more during their senior year at Ball State. It didn't take them long to realize that their connection ran deeper than friendship, and they couldn't deny their love for one another.

Fast forward five years, after moving in together and attending a few weddings as a couple, Jeff decided to surprise Payge in a memorable way. He asked for her hand in marriage at Navy Pier, a proposal that left her nearly speechless with surprise. However, her heart quickly answered with an enthusiastic "yes." They had always been known as the couple that seemed destined to be together, and now, that destiny was becoming a reality as they looked forward to their happily ever after.
