We originally met when we were in the same fourth grade class at Bates Elementary (when we probably started developing a bit of a crush on each other). We got really close in junior high when we were best friends (and maybe a little more than friends at some points...)

Flash forward to early 2020: we had both gotten home from our missions pretty recently and Haylee decided to reach out to Jeff and see how he was doing. We ended up hanging out for the first time in years and had an awesome time together. While it was definitely an interesting experience trying to navigate dating in the middle of a pandemic, we were still able to become best friends and fall in love again pretty quickly. We've had some awesome adventures together so far and are beyond excited to start on the biggest adventure of our lives!
