Our love story began on Sunday, April 11th, 2021. On this day Jeff came to Pla Mor Ballroom with some of his friends. On that same Sunday Mackensie came to Pla Mor Ballroom with some of her friends as well. After dancing the night away Mackensie stepped outside to cool off when she ran into her old coworker, Blake. Who just so happened to be a good friend of Jeff's. After Mackensie and Blake were done catching up with each other Blake invited Mackensie to come inside and meet his girlfriend, Morgan.

Mackensie then accepted Blake's invitation to meet Morgan and followed Blake inside to the table where Jeff and all of his friends sat including Morgan and TJae. Upon reaching the table Blake introduced Mackensie to his girlfriend Morgan, TJae, and of course Jeff. After conversing with Blake and his friends for awhile Mackensie went back to line dancing. After Mackensie left the table Blake finally told Jeff the real reason he brought Mackensie to the table. At this point Blake was convinced that Jeff and Mackensie would hit it off and encouraged Jeff to go ask Mackensie to swing dance. Jeff than began to nervously search for Mackensie in the crowd. After Jeff found Mackensie he worked to build up the courage to ask her to dance. Once he finally asked, Mackensie accepted his offer to swing dance.

Upon beginning to dance with Jeff, Mackensie informed him that she had two left feet when it comes to dancing. To which Jeff replied that would not be a problem. Jeff and Mackensie danced for what seemed like forever as they talked and danced. Nearing the end of the song that the two wished would never stop Jeff asked Mackensie if she had ever done a flip before to which she replied with no. Jeff than asked if Mackensie would like to try a flip.

After some slight hesitation Mackensie replied yes. Jeff and Mackensie than attempted a flip and Mackensie completely missed landing on her feet and landed on her butt instead! Jeff immediately felt bad and extended a hand to help Mackensie up. Much to his surprise and relief, Mackensie was okay and laughing about it. She then thanked Jeff for the dance and went back to line dancing embarrassed by her lack of coordination. Mackensie thought she had completely missed her chance with Jeff. However, not even Mackensie's clumsiness could scare Jeff away.

A few songs later Jeff found Mackensie yet again and asked her to swing dance. To which Mackensie replied yes yet again. After some swing dancing Mackensie then convinced Jeff to do some line dances as well. The two ended the night swing dancing when Jeff asked Mackensie for her phone number. A week later on April 18th, 2021 Jeff asked Mackensie out at Pla Mor Ballroom the very place the two had met for the first time. A little over a year later on July 16th, 2022 Jeff asked Mackensie to marry him and Mackensie said YES! Their wedding is coming to a venue near you soon on July 20th, 2024!
