Rizza moved to Canada in 2008 with her family. Missing her hometown, she used yahoo messenger to chat with friends and other people online. That's where she met King. The two started as friends in the chatroom, until King asked her to be his girlfriend in June 22, 2009.

Just like any long distance relationships, we also struggle to keep our relationship strong. Until the two of us decided to take the relationship to another level and decided to meet up in person in 2013. He's from cavite and I'm from Bulacan. We decided to meet at Greenhills mall. It felt surreal when we saw each other for the first time. Like every romantic movies, everything slows down as I saw him going in the store were we decided to meet. Wearing his black long sleeve, jeans and his biggest smile. I introduced him to my family. We gave each other promise ring as a symbol of commitment to each other from this day forward.

Our long distance relationship continues for 15 years. I went back home multiple times during this period, so I can be with him. My priority at that time is to prove to my parents that I can continue the career that I started back hom, here in Canada. He supported me in my decision and waited for me. And I'm so thankful for him for that. Were not getting any younger but he respected my decision.

In 2022, my parents went back home in the Philippines. He bought the engagement ring and asked my parents for their blessing to marry me. In 2024, we all went back to Philippines and he proposed to me, and I said YES!

After engagement, we went straight to planning for the wedding so I can be with him forever. We waited long enough for this moment to happen but it's really WORTH THE WAIT🥰
