January 28th, 2019: Dog bone in his hand, Jeff sets off to meet the one who would be forever. A casual lunch at Pittsford Pub would mark the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Since that day, Brooke and Jeff have gone through some of life’s most significant accomplishments together. Jeff received his Master's degree with incredible support from Brooke, both started their first full-time jobs in late 2019, and in early 2021 they adopted a Great Pyrenees-Australian Shepherd puppy named Raya. Throughout their accomplishments, Brooke and Jeff always found time to travel. From San Diego, California to York, Maine, a long day of travel has never kept the couple at bay. To no surprise, Brooke and Jeff enjoy annual vacations to Newport, Rhode Island and have made the destination a significant, never ending chapter of their life together.

November 9th, 2022: Brooke and Jeff settle into their room at 41° North, a hotel overlooking Newport’s harbor. Ring hidden away and Brooke sitting quietly on the balcony, Jeff begins to prepare for tomorrow morning, the proposal. Breakfast, outfits, weather, every piece is falling into place for the perfect moment. However, as the sun began to set and the skies turned red, tomorrow morning’s plan no longer mattered. Everything that needed to be in place was right there in front of him. Jeff swiftly retrieved the ring, proceeded to the balcony, got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?”.
