We originally met in third grade at Seylar Elementary School. While we were playing outside on the playground, Vivian went up to Jeffrey, stuck out her finger, and said, “My finger is string cheese,” and so naturally, Jeffrey, bit her on the finger. This horrid action led to Vivian telling on him, however, Jeffrey did NOT get in trouble. Vivian moved schools and the two didn’t cross paths until college.

Almost ten years later, we ended up at Millersville University studying the same major, Technology Education. On the first day of classes, Jeffrey went up to Vivian and asked if she remembered him. She said no at first, but after Jeffrey explained the story from third grade, Vivian remembered him right away. For the next two years, we became close friends and at the end of our sophomore year, we began dating.

During the next five years as a couple, we graduated college together, got jobs near our hometowns as Technology Education teachers, and continued to further our education by starting a master's program together.

On December 15th, 2023, we got engaged at the New Hope Train Station. Shortly after getting engaged, we bought a house that summer and worked on it with the help of our family and friends.

As a couple, we enjoy going out to restaurants and trying new foods, working on new projects for our house, being outside, going to the movies, and spending time with our families. We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and so grateful for the amazing and supportive people around us.
