How They Met:

It all started with an innocent game of darts! It was towards the end of winter in Minnesota when Jeff and Samantha met due to mutual friends who had gotten together late one night for a few games of darts, a game which Samantha was originally not supposed to be at as she was planning on walking home for the evening when a friend convinced her to stop by for one game. Needless to say, she ended up going to darts and after a heated debate on Jeff walking her home the rest is history!

First Date:

After months of talking and getting to know each other Jeff finally convinced Samantha to go on a real first date with him. They had been to all the local restaurants within walking distance of their homes at the time, so they decided to check out Lucky 13’s. It was that night that Jeff asked to make things official and they started dating.

Their Favorite Memories:

Jeff and Samantha definitely keep each other on their toes with all the adventures and things they plan or in Jeff’s case don’t plan and “wing” it. However, if you were to ask the couple what some of their favorite times together are they would both have to agree it is all their fun trips either out of town or out of the country, game night at home and just hanging out in the backyard with their dog.

The Proposal:

There were very few people who were let in on the secret that Jeff had purchased a ring while he was out of town for work, and even though it did not go the way he had planned it was still perfectly him! Jeff originally had planned to take Samantha to one of their favorite date spots to propose, instead covid happened. That being said once Jeff came home from being out of town, he knew he couldn’t keep the ring a secret for long and proposed on the spot in their home!

The End:

After 8 years together we cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with everyone one the 7th of September 2024. See you there!
