Austin and Chris have had a close friendship from the moment they met. The kind where you go out of your way to help each other and to be there for one another. Austin even went so far as giving Chris a place to stay when his RV would break and quickly made him part of his family. They've hunted, and tasted, A LOT of bourbon together and have played innumerable rounds of mediocre golf.

Dustin has been Chris' best friend for over 20 years! They went to college together, played in a band together, and have been side by side through some of the toughest things they've ever faced. When they're together - brace yourself. It will be loud, it will be silly, and it will most definitely be obnoxious.

Ford and Chris didn't meet until 2022 when Chris showed up in Clovis. However, they immediately bonded over work, flying, golf, and bourbon. Even though Ford went to the AF Academy, and is highly likely to be wearing his treasured class ring at the wedding, he has been an incredible friend and support for Chris and Jelisa.

Chris and Andy also didn't meet until they were serving their time together in Clovis, NM but bourbon and a friendly UK vs UT rivalry brought them together. They love to pick on one another and love to help each other find the next great bottle. Although Chris admits that Andy has become the bourbon hunting King, he also acknowledges that it likely has something to do with people feeling sorry for him.

Carley is Jelisa's best friend, fellow triathlete, inspiration, and teammate. I met Carley at that liberal arts school in CO. She's an amazing triathlete who has raced and won the world-over, incredible person, world-traveler, pilot, hardcore female and more. She introduced me to triathlon and our amazing coach. We've been besties ever since.

Lisa has been a teammate, best friend, and inspiration to Jelisa since they met in 2022. She is a badass, intelligent, compassionate, funny and sharp, fiery and passionate advocate for so many. She crushes every challenge that comes her way and is a champion for what's right.

Christy is my adoptive mom and best friend. If you didn't know, you'd never guess that we weren't biologically related. Equally passionate about God, fitness, caring for others, intelligent, independent...I'm her mini-me. She's been a pillar in my life and I am incredibly grateful for her.
