Rathmullan is a small village in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located around 30 minutes from Letterkenny. It normally takes around 2 hours 15 minutes from Belfast but we recommend you check the duration of your route , depending on the timing of the day.

Unfortunately Rathmullan House itself has limited rooms. If you have been unable to get a room in Rathmullan House but are keen to stay close by there are many options. Airbnb and booking.com have lots of houses as well as the website rathmullancottages.com. We have a couple of extra houses booked for anyone struggling to find one. The Watersedge also has a number of rooms - we have reserved these for you so just ask us and we can give you one of these! If you are up for the weekend and fancy some food or coffee, the main cafe is Belles , it has great choice! It is in the centre of the village. The Beachcomber Bar also does bar food and is our favourite pub. There are coffee vans beside the sea , one of which serves toasties. There is one small shop in the village which offers the essentials. Lidl in milford is about 15 minutes drive.
