Jennifer and Jerryd. Where does their story start. High school sweethearts, except they were at different high schools. A mutual friend introduced Jen and Jerryd, and he is still an important part of their life. Make sure you all thank Wyatt for his part in this love story.

Jerryd grew up on the family farm south of Sylvan. Always busy with hockey, baseball, helping on the farm and working at a young age. His biggest passion is hunting and fishing.

Jen grew up north of Eckville. It took her a bit to find what activities she liked. She participated in dance, figure skating, hockey, 4-H, and finally finding that school sports were her thing. Especially basketball.

Jen was in grade 12 and Jerryd grade 11 when they first met. It didn’t take long before they were officially dating. They graduated high school, decided on careers, and planned their life together.

Fast forward three years, Jerryd bought a house and Jen became his roommate. Next came Rocky, the very loved, a bit hyper, black dog.

They have enjoyed numerous trips to hot destinations by themselves, with friends and family. They also enjoy camping and going skiing/snowboarding in the mountains.

Living in town was not the dream for either of them. So Jerryd decided to move back home, and took Jen with him. After managing to survive a major renovation, the big day came. Jerryd proposed to Jen on Christmas Day 2023, with Wyatt there to take a couple pictures.

Wedding plans quickly came together. They both wanted a big wedding, and also wanted to do it close to home. So they will get married just through the trees from their home, and have the rest of the celebration a few miles down the road. They truly appreciate Grandma and Grandpa Wold and Lee for supporting their decision to get married at the farm.

They are also very grateful for all the support from family and friends as they have navigated this journey and take the next step in the rest of their lives together.
