Alecia and Jen met on an online dating site during a global pandemic. No pandemic, single mom mothering a newborn or long distant dating (even when they only lived 8 miles away) could get in their way. They made their weekly facetimes, non-stop texting and in person (but kept their 5 feet apart) walks in the cold drive the beginning of their love story.

By the time their dating really began, they had already felt like they knew everything there was to know about the other person. It was only a few weeks in before Jen asked Alecia to officially be her girlfriend (in a very cute and creative way some might add). They loved their new relationship. Jen became Alex's 'Nen' while learning how to be a mom to Alex, life threw its curve balls at both of them, yet they knew they were stronger together and could weather it all. A few months later, Alex and Alecia said the big L word to Jen. Love. The reason that we are all coming together to celebrate in August.

Alecia and Jen will be saying their 'I Do's' privately in front of their family ahead of the reception date. Jen is officially adopting Alex in June and they all plan to officially become the McSteeves that same afternoon.
