We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Atlanta! While many of you are local and know the city well, we also have friends and family traveling from near and far.
Below are some of our favorite spots to explore—places to walk, grab a drink, or just hang out for an afternoon. And at the bottom, you’ll find a list of restaurant recommendations if you’re looking for a good dinner spot or just something quick while you are out and about.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—we’re happy to help!
A walking and biking trail that was built by redeveloping old abandoned rail tracks. This portion of the beltline is the most developed and runs through some of our favorite neighborhoods—great for people-watching, street art, and hopping between coffee shops, breweries, and patios.
Start at Ponce or Krog Street Market and see where the day takes you.
A massive food hall and shopping spot in the historic Sears building, located right on the BeltLine. Great place to grab a bite, explore local shops, or head up to the rooftop for drinks, games, and a great city view.
We like it for an easy afternoon out with lots of options. Also, a great starting point to explore the beltline from.
If you’re staying in Buckhead, this is your walkable go-to for upscale shopping, restaurants, and patios—easy to pop in and out of places.
Super convenient for a bite or a drink close to hotels in Buckhead.
Our main art museum with rotating exhibits and a beautiful space in Midtown. Close to other cool stuff, so you can make a whole afternoon out of it.
Great option if you want to slow down for a bit.
Our big city park—perfect for a stroll or picnic. The Botanical Garden’s right next to it and has really pretty paths and exhibits, especially if the weather’s nice.
Low-key way to spend a sunny afternoon. If you're looking for a great place to watch sports, check out Park Tavern on the south side of the Park!
One of the biggest aquariums in the world—and it actually lives up to the hype. You can walk through a tunnel with whale sharks swimming overhead, watch sea lions do tricks, and see more fish than you ever thought possible.
Good for kids or anyone like Nick who just loves ocean stuff.
Trendy, redeveloped area with great restaurants, boutique shopping, and nice spots to grab coffee or a drink. It’s a little tucked away but definitely worth the detour if you have time.
Fun for wandering and grabbing a good meal. We love Storico Fresco for a good Italian meal.
It just hits different in Atlanta... see you guys there late night on Saturday.
Storico Fresco (Buckhead)
Elevated Italian with homemade pasta in central buckhead.
YEPA & Co. (Buckhead Village)
Lively Italian food with a chic patio and excellent cocktails! (Especially the Espresso Martini)

Tex-Mex in a fun, lively space—queso, tacos, margs.
Canoe (Vinings – just past Buckhead)
Riverfront, classic fine dining with a great brunch and peaceful setting.
Umi (Buckhead)
The "it" place for sushi in Atlanta. It’s a scene, but the food backs it up. We recommend calling to see if you can get a reservation for Himitsu, the sister speakeasy, afterwards!
Delbar (Buckhead and Inman Park)
Modern Middle Eastern in a gorgeous setting. Great for groups or dates.
MF Sushi (Inman Park)
Great sushi in one of our favorite neighborhoods. We recommend sitting at the sushi bar and taking recommendations on their nigiri specials!
Lyla Lila (Midtown)
Romantic and stylish European spot with amazing pasta and a great wine list.
Talat Market (Summerhill)
Modern Thai using local ingredients—cozy, creative, and delicious.
South City Kitchen (Midtown)
Upscale take on Southern classics—fried chicken, shrimp & grits, etc.
Lucian Books & Wine (Buckhead)
Artsy and refined with a small but thoughtful menu and a great wine list.
Marcel (West Midtown)
Our favorite Atlanta steakhouse. Definitely $$$ but it is a great experience!
Anis Café & Bistro (Buckhead)
Charming French bistro with the best patio. Home to the legendary Christmas Eve "Drunk Santa".
The Chastain (Buckhead)
At night, this is an upscale restaurant (that we also recommend) but during the day, along with lunch service, their bar turns into a coffee shop with small bites! Great ending to a walk around Cathy's neighborhood, Chastain Park.
Little Rey (Piedmont Heights/Morningside)
Order at the counter—wood-grilled tacos and great frozen margs.
Six Feet Under (Grant Park)
An Atlanta Institution. Great for a casual bite after exploring downtown.
Souper Jenny (Buckhead)
Rotating menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Cozy and homemade.
Muchacho (Reynoldstown)
Breakfast tacos, grain bowls, and strong coffee right on the BeltLine.
Little Tart Bakeshop (Grant Park or Summerhill)
Coffee, pastries, and light bites—perfect mid-day stop.
Victory Sandwich Bar (Inman Park)
Tiny sandwiches and drinks. Easy, fast, and fun.
