Our Wedding

Jen and Brian’s paths first crossed at Keene State College, where their groups of friends often hung out together. By the end of sophomore year, their friendship had grown into something more, and they quickly realized they’d found something special. They spent their junior and senior years making countless memories together. When Brian was offered a job in Rockville, Maryland, Jen didn’t hesitate—she told him that if he wanted to take the job, she would move with him. Having always been told to experience life beyond the Cape, she saw it as the perfect chance for a new adventure. In 2020, during the height of Covid, they moved in together for the first time—a true relationship test. Just two weeks into their new life, they decided to get their first “fur baby,” Koda, a Norwegian Elkhound. The three of them spent their days hiking, exploring the DMV, and making frequent trips into Washington, D.C. Jen took a year off from school to nanny for a wonderful family, before deciding to pursue her master’s degree in school counseling. When Jen graduated in May 2023, they packed up once again—this time returning to the Cape. A year later, in May 2024, they bought their first home, diving headfirst into projects and creating a space of their own. On December 15, 2024, at one of their favorite hidden beaches—a wintertime escape where they love to search for sea glass—Brian got down on one knee. The spot is a bit of a secret; if you’re lucky, they might take you there someday. Since then, they’ve continued turning their house into a home, welcomed their second fur baby, a cat named Goose, and now they’re counting down the days until they can celebrate their love surrounded by all their favorite people.

A special place close to their hearts, Mother’s Park is a beautiful community space that holds a tribute to Jen’s late brother, Scotty. In lieu of flowers, the Peacock family asked for donations to the park, a place Scotty loved, which helped revamp the grounds and create a meaningful memorial in his honor.
