After meeting online in fall 2019, Heather and Jen officially met in person in Los Angeles in February 2020 over gluten free vegan sushi. Their first date led to a second, right before the COVID shutdown in March. Their "dates" became take out food and Netflix in their vehicles, or picnics in the park. Jen moved into Heather's apartment in July of 2020 and they officially moved in to their current apartment in August. Shortly after moving into their own apartment, they adopted their beloved dog, Fettuccine. On a long-time-coming trip to Europe, they became engaged. Heather proposed to Jen on a fine dining dinner cruise on the Seine in front of the Eiffel Tower. Jen then proposed to Heather on a daytrip in Germany in front of a beautiful castle. Shortly after their return, they began planning for their marriage in October. They look forward to their wedding and the many exciting things to come in the next chapters of their lives together.
